Corné grew up in Villiersdorp where he attended primary school. He matriculated at Paul Roos Gymnasuim and thereafter commenced his BSc (Agric) Animal Science studies. He continued his studies by completing his MSc (Agric) degree in Monogastric Nutrition. In 2011 he kicked off his career at Nova Feeds in Malmesbury as Monogastric Technical Advisor and in 2014 he joined the AFGRI Animal Feeds team as Operational Nutritionist for Western and Eastern Cape. He became Technical Manager and later he fulfilled the position as Swine Specialist. Corné joined forces with Samuel Wolhuter in 2018 and started their own company, MyFeed Group, that supplies nutritional and management consulting to clients in the pork industry.
